Tandem Creperie and Coffeehouse

Lovely, small town cafe with a beautiful atmosphere. Employees truly give you a welcoming experience. The food is delicious 😋 I absolutely loved the latte as well. I am very picky with my espresso drinks and I must say this was one of the best I've had outside of my home!! Thank you and definitely will come back next time we travel to SC.

Together is Best! We love stopping in when we are in town. Any of the crepes are good. The Lumberjack is standard for me. It’s a perfect place to get quality food and quality pics for Instagram with quality people. Peace!

The Strawberry Crepes were so delicious! The caramel latte was so yummy and Esther (who took our order) was extremely kind and considerate! Definitely recommend

I had the apple and pecan waffle and it was good. ^_^ The coffee is excellent and service was great! Also a great atmosphere. Just a little wiggle room for that wow factor in the recipes

Excellent breakfast/brunch and coffee. Savory and sweet options. Coffee was excellent. Line was long when we arrived but it moved quickly and there was a good amount of seating. Several vegetarian options. Parking can be difficult... Like all of TR but it's worth the struggle.

I’ve been going to Tandem regularly for several years now. This place is fantastic and not just because the food and coffee is amazing. I’ve always been greeted with smiling faces and a lot of time they’ll take the time to ask what your plans are for the day and how you are doing. The attitude of everyone that works at Tandem shows that they really care about their product and service. In addition the kitchen which is visible is immaculate and so are the restrooms. For anyone visiting the Upstate or already live here but haven’t been yet I recommend giving this place a try. As a side note if you are not a big fan of crepes or have been several times and looking for something different you can order most if not all crepes as an omelette as well. On occasion I order the granola and a couple over medium eggs on the side. Delicious 😋 Thank you Tandem for being who you are and setting an example of how food quality and service should be. . This place has great food and awesome customer service. I have been there at least 5 times, and I am never disappointed. Today, there was an error with my order, and when I told an employee, he made me a fresh crepe on the fly AND refunded my money. He was very professional, and I did not expect that level of service. Service this good is rare, and I will definitely be back. AND they have gluten-free crepes which is one of the main reasons I drive 30 minutes to go here!

What a great little place! Be prepared to stand in line, but you’ll be glad you did. Great coffee and very good menu selection. Very unique blend of savory and sweet options. My daughter’s hot chocolate was so pretty and the waffle was amazing. Def recommend!

Tandem is an excellent meeting place for breakfast, brunch or lunch in the heart of TR. The food is excellent, service always cheerful and attentive, and there is a real atmosphere of community and fellowship. Having the Swamp Rabbit Trail next door offers an excellent walk or bike ride to burn off any extra calories consumed. ;)

This is HANDS DOWN our favorite coffee shop/cafe in the Greenville area!! Everything is tops: food is scrumptious and made of locally sourced or organic ingredients whenever possible, prices are very reasonable for the food quality and quantity, staff is the NICEST--they make everything a joy--, decor and atmosphere is so cozy and cute, you can sit indoors or semi-outside ("porch" area is closed and heated in cold weather, has fans and huge open windows in warm weather---so nice!), and service is timely. Parking is often full or close to full, but we just always park behind the stores opposite the nearby laundry mat with no issues and it is a super short walk. Hours of operation are a bit limited but that is literally the only thing I would change.

Delish! I can not wait to visit my daughter & her family again. I'll probably set the GPS for Tandem and eat 1st. So Good! Really nice atmosphere, helpful, kind and patient staff if you need suggestions with menu. So Tasty!

Beautiful facility, and such a kind staff! You wouldn’t think to try the waffles at a creperie but PLEASE DO. They are the best waffles I’ve ever had, hands down. (And they’re whole grain). Highly recommend the coffee as well!

Not really my kind of place, but my mom and wife wanted to go. I was shocked, I actually liked it. Had the Lumberjack it was good and filling. All the employees were extremely nice. Had good sweet tea. They won't have to twist my arm as hard next time!

First visit here. Ordered the lumberjack, it was so full of Goodness I wasn't able to eat the whole thing. The place is quant and full of history. The service is spot on. They make sure you are good without being bothersome. I grew up here and am happy they chose to use the bldg and not tear it down to build a new.

I have been here a few times and every time it's just so good. Their food taste so fresh and their coffee is delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!

This place is lovely. We have been here many times since they opened and have loved everything we have tried. They have so many sweet and savory crepes that are all delicious. They also have many different ways of making coffee so there is something for everyone. My family is completely in love with their honey lavender latte. The atmosphere is adorable and nowhere else I have seen serves drinks in those cute yellow mugs. It is possibly the most Instagram-worthy place in Travelers Rest but that is obviously not why it is worth the visit. The place is comfortable and charming and the food is always perfect!

We have been here many times for breakfast/ brunch! Always a friendly, warm, atmosphere to complement the delicious food and coffee! We particularly like the outdoor seating area, which is covered and has fans and heaters to keep guests comfortable at all times. Very cool place overall!

One of my favorite spots in downtown TR. It's a shame they don't stay open later. Every crepe I've had has been amazing. Especially the seasonal ones. The coffee is really good too.

I know this place is really popular for it's food but somehow I did not like what I had.

The kids had waffles and fresh orange juice and my wife and I had crepes and coffee. The banana nut crepe has Nutella, bananas and nuts. The (special) raspberry chia crepe was light and fresh. Yum!My dad is vegan and had granola with almond milk. Mom had cinnamon roll crepe and a latte with lavender.All were very happy starting our day with Tandem Creperie!

The food here was delicious and the service was fast, even on a busy Saturday morning. The menu is a little expensive, but prices weren't too high. The staff was courteous and helpful. I got a blueberry waffle with whipped cream and nutella. It was delicious.

We had a very large order and it was on time and everyone's order was correct. Many people enjoying the crepes were new to Tandem and now you have many more fans. The food is always delicious. The Horchata Coffee is unreal and the Strawberry Basil Lemonade is BOMB! And a bonus the employees all helped to load up all the goodies and were so nice, all with big smiles and were so grateful for the business. Best place in TR!!!

Tandem is a cute little coffee & crepe shop in travelers rest, I’m not sure how busy it gets during the week, but on the weekends, expect to be waiting in line! It is worth the wait. The lines go pretty fast. We try to get here before 10:30 to avoid the lines, at least on sundays that’s the case. You can’t go wrong with any of their crepes, as they are all very good. They used to have the Mediterranean crepe, which was so good, and vegetarian. So Tandem owners if you read this please bring it back 😁I give Tandem 5 stars for their perfect design, amazing crepes, friendly staff & fast service.

The food and service at Tandem are awesome. No criticism on that front! The coffee could be much better. There are several Greenville based roasters turning out better quality coffee than Counter Culture.

I love crepes and I mean when I say this place is a MUST even when you’re within 3 hours because the crepes are out of this world! Service was exceptional, people are so great, and the food...guys...the fffoooooooooddddd!! Our group got 3 crepes and ALL of them were delicious! You can’t go wrong! My favorite was the chicken & mushroom! Go here and enjoy it, trust me it’s worth it!

This is a great little place. It has lovely decor, tasty food, and my mocha latte was super yummy. The employees all seem to be kind and helpful.

Wonderful! This place is a must stop if passing through Traveler's Rest. The food is delicious and service is quick and friendly. The crepes are made to order and are really good. Also really good lattes. The place is nicely decorated with a farmhouse modern vibe.

My favorite crepe is the tiramisu one. Absolutely delicious and different from any dessert I've ever had before.

Casual atmosphere; you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Flavor would get this place 5 stars, good combinations, very tasty. The lemon crepe was my favorite. However, the crepes themselves are more like a pancake, not thin enough. I think they make them thicker so they hold up to the large amount of filling that are in the savory crepes, but I would prefer less filling and a thinner crepe. Overall they are worth a try!

I have been going here for years & just realized I have not ever wrote a review. This is my all time favorite place to eat. Of course there is menu items that I don’t care for but that’s because of my preference. They have the BEST coffee, homemade sodas and fresh OJ. And I have my favorite go-to crepes. This place feels like home to me and I’m a regular that’s for sure! Thank you for being open through this pandemic Tandem!
